All our lamp sockets are shipped

    are shipped unassembled and unscrewed.

    so that the built-in locking safety mechanism is not "locked" when you receive the product.
    If the safety device does lock for some reason, you can open this safety system with a small screwdriver located on the side of the socket. Please see our tutorial page for videos on how to open light bulb sockets. If you try to open the socket, the power supply will be cut off.
